SYNOPSIS
Mayumi and Isabelle never really liked each other, even more so when Mayumi’s mother, Luisa, and Isabelle’s father, Hernan, fall for one another and got married, making them stepsisters.
Mayumi lost her father, Mario at an early age when he dies of a heart attack after winning the lottery. His best friend, Hernan does not inform Mayumi and Luisa about it. He instead uses the money to become a successful entrepreneur, building a beauty empire called “Coco Bella” managed by his only daughter, Isabelle.
One day Mayumi, who is now a licensed chemist, applies for a job at Coco Bella. Out of guilt, Hernan employs Mayumi despite his daughter’s objection. More conflict arises when Francis, the man Isabelle loves, falls for Mayumi. Their rivalry worsens when Hernan decides to marry Luisa. Isabelle and Mayumi suddenly become family.
But no secret ever stays a secret. Isabelle learns about Hernan’s dishonesty and that he plans to return Mario’s lottery winning to Mayumi. Isabelle, on the other hand, does everything to keep their wealth, even if it means taking down Mayumi or hurting her own father. But Mayumi will not back down. The two women will fight for what is rightfully theirs—family, honor, and love.
