GMA Network’s primetime drama series continue to top the rating charts, beating its rival programs. Based on Nielsen Philippines’ NUTAM ratings data, Legal Wives, I Left My Heart in Sorsogon, and The World Between Us were the most-watched dramas for the month of November, while To Have and To Hold maintains its spot in the top five most-watched programs.
Cultural family drama Legal Wives ended on a very high note with an average People Rating of 15.4 percent. On social media, netizens praised the cast and crew for the incredible work they put into the series. Led by GMA’s top dramatic actor Dennis Trillo (Color of My Blood), with Andrea Torres (The Better Woman), Bianca Umali (Sahaya), and Alice Dixson (A Place In Your Heart), the series follows the story of a unique family of a Muslim man who married three different women for different reasons.
Romantic-comedy series I Left My Heart in Sorsogon has capture the hearts of viewers since it premiered last November 15. The series earned an average People Rating of 13.2 percent. It is also very much talked about on social media, with fans raving about the interesting plot. In the series, international fashion icon Heart Evangelista (My Korean Jagiya) brings to life Celeste, a celebrated fashion designer, who is caught in a love triangle with high society’s most eligible bachelor, Tonito, and her ex-boyfriend, Mikoy.
Recently back on primetime after its season break is the romantic drama series The World Between Us, starring award-winning actor Alden Richards (The Gift), Jasmine Curtis-Smith (I Can See You), and Tom Rodriguez (Love of My Life). It earned an average of 11.1 percent People Rating shortly after its return. The series has been keeping viewers on the edge of their seats with dramatic transformation of the lead character, Louie (Alden), and big revelations in the story.
Finally, viewers are looking forward to the finale of the compelling series To Have and To Hold, top-billed by internationally-acclaimed actress Carla Abellana (Because of You) as Erica Gatchalian, Rocco Nacino (The Descendants of the Sun Ph) as Gavin Ramirez, and Max Collins (The Silent Thief) as Dominique Ramirez. The series continues to rule its timeslot with an average People Rating of 10.6 percent. The series has a fresh take on the theme of infidelity. It portrays the passionate and lively nature of marriages, and shows the thin line between love and hate.
