GMA’s top rating anthology, I Can See You is back with a new installment titled Alternate. It premiered last January 10, 2022 on the Network’s Primetime block. The series tells the story of a man whose life turns upside down when he meets his long-lost twin brother and asks him to pretend to be him. The series is top-billed by internationally acclaimed actor Dingdong Dantes (Descendants of the Sun Ph, Bow of Justice) and Beauty Gonzales (Loving Miss Bridgette). Based on Nielsen Philippines, the miniseries earned a 9.8 % rating on its pilot episode and is consistently on the top 3 most-watched programs in the Philippines.

Nate lives a miserable life because of Lyndon, his abusive and controlling adoptive father. Lyndon dictates how Nate should live his life. This frustrates Sheila, Nate’s wife, who thinks her husband should learn how to stand up to his father.

Nate finds an opportunity to change his life when he discovers he has an identical twin, Michael. Nate and Michael are as different as night and day. Michael is a conman who is independent and fearless.
