GMA Network premiered Little Princess last January 10, 2022. The series is top-billed by Jo Berry (The Way to Your Heart, The Gift) Rodjun Cruz (My Crown Princess, Legally Blind) and Juancho Trivino (A Place in Your Heart, Happy Together). It tells the story of Princess, a little person who suddenly becomes a business executive and must face the challenges of the corporate world. Based on Nielsen Philippines NUTAM, it earned an average TV household rating of 11.5% during its pilot week.
Princess is a little person, but in the world of online gaming, she is a big deal. She hopes to give her mother, Elise, a comfortable life through her skills as an online gamer. When Princess wins an online gaming tournament, she meets Marcus, the CEO of a big company and sponsor of the event. To her surprise, she discovers that Marcus is her biological father, something Elise never told her about. Over Elise’s objection, Marcus takes Princess in and makes her heiress to his business.
Marcus subsequently dies in a mysterious accident, leaving Princess in-charge of running the company. This makes Odessa, Marcus’ legal wife, furious. She vows to make Princess’ life miserable. In order to help find the truth about her father’s death, Princess bravely faces the challenges in the corporate world where she is mocked and her capabilities questioned.
