10 Jan GMA’s Miniseries ‘The End of Us’
GMA’s miniseries The End of Us concluded its successful run last January 7, 2022, on the Network’s afternoon block. This is the first project together of veteran actors and real-life husband and wife, Zoren Legaspi (Revenge, Broken Hearts) and Carmina Villaroel (All or Nothing, Heart and Soul). It is the fourth and last story featured under GMA’s top rating anthology Stories From The Heart. The story revolves around a husband and wife struggling through the gruelling annulment of their marriage. Based on Nielsen Philippines overnight data, the series earned a 5.4 % rating during its finale. It was consistently among the top 10 most-watched programs in the Philippines.
Carmina Villaroel
Maggie and Jeffrey’s marriage slowly falls apart after years of being together. Maggie tries hard to juggle her career and her wifely duties while Jeffrey continues to live a carefree life. Things become complicated when Jeffrey decides to start a business with Eunice, Maggie’s friend.
Zoren Legaspi
Soon, Maggie discovers that Jeffrey and Eunice are having an affair. The couple decide to separate, and a year later, Maggie receives a summons requesting an annulment of their marriage.

The annulment trial is too stressful for Maggie so she decides to take off to a faraway cabin. Much to her surprise, Jeffrey is there, too. As they spend time together, Maggie and Jeffrey rediscover the love they lost. Just when they realize they are still in love with each other, the court grants the annulment.
