Pinulot Ka Lang Sa Lupa

Diony and Cesar have two children, Ephraim and Glenda. They are a happy family despite living in the slums. One day tragedy strikes. A fire breaks out and their daughter, Glenda is killed. Cesar blames Diony for causing the fire and Glenda’s death. Cesar eventually abandons Diony out of resentment. After years of depression Diony recovers and works hard to become a successful restaurateur. But despite her wealth and success, she still feels empty inside. To fill the void, she adopts a homeless little girl named Angeli. Angeli is a bright and motivated young girl. When she comes of age, she helps Diony manage her restaurant business.

After 12 years, Cesar suffers a stroke. This forces him and Ephraim to return to Diony and beg for help and forgiveness. Diony happily takes back both husband and son. They slowly rebuild their family and surprisingly, Angeli gets along well with Ephraim and secretly develops feelings for him.

After some time, Diony crosses paths with another orphan, Santina, who is Ephraim’s childhood friend. Santina is a determined young woman focused on building a good life for herself. Diony sees Santina’s potential and not only employs her as a cook; she also funds her education.

As Santina and Ephraim spend more time together, they revive their closeness and develop a serious romance. This starts a love triangle between Ephraim, Santina and Angeli. Angeli becomes jealous of Santina not only because of Ephraim, but also because she now feels that she has to compete for Diony’s attention. Consequently, Angeli becomes mean towards Santina. But Santina is no push-over. Santina is prepared to fight for her love and for the attention of her adoptive mother.
