Her overprotective mother, Olive, strictly forbids her from going outside, punishing her whenever she tries. But when Emma, the family’s new laundrywoman, arrives, she begins to suspect something is amiss. As Emma unravels Olive’s sinister scheme, Mookie slowly uncovers the horrifying truth about her condition. What will happen when she finally learns the reality of her confinement?
