Thea goes to the big city to find work and to bury a traumatic past so she can move on with her life. She meets Marco, a charming, and happy-go-lucky guy. Despite the disapproval of Marco’s mother, Adel, the two immediately fall in love and get married. They promise to love and to hold each other until the day they die. Soon, they build a family with the birth of their fraternal twins.

Things seem to have turned around for Thea until a shocking discovery brings back the past she keeps hidden from Marco. Doctors find out that her blood is HIV reactive. She acquired the infection years ago when Lawrence, her best friend raped her. The secret she is keeping is revealed and suddenly threatens her happy life.

To make matters worse, Adel uses Lawrence to convince Marco that Thea has been unfaithful. Lawrence leads Marco to believe that his wife contracted HIV because she was unfaithful. Hurt and devastated, Marco decides to leave Thea for his ex-girlfriend, Ava, and takes their twins away from her. Thea finds herself alone and forsaken.

Despite falling into a deep depression and her body beginning to display severe symptoms of her infection, Thea decides to conquer her inner demons and reclaim her life and her family?
