The Lost Recipe

Harvey, an unsuccessful chef, is given the chance to travel back in time to the year 1895. There, he is mentored by the Matriarch of Filipino Food herself, Conchita Valencia, and her daughter, Consuelo. However, as Harvey returns to the present, he accidentally takes Conchita’s famous adobo recipe with him. As a consequence, El Adobo, the restaurant empire built upon Conchita’s famous recipe, ceases to exist.

Without any trace of El Adobo in the present, Harvey decides to use Conchita’s recipe in order to recover from his past failures and to start his own restaurant. One day, a talented chef named Apple, applies for work in Harvey’s restaurant. To Harvey’s surprise, Apple looks exactly like Consuelo. As they work together and share their passion for food, Harvey wonders whether Apple is related to Consuelo and to the lost recipe he brought back from the past.
