Clara discovers that her once perfect husband, Roman, is having an affair with another woman. She is devastated, but to make things worse, she learns that underneath his good natured behavior, Roman is a sadist. She tries to leave Roman but he threatens to harm her family if she does. Feeling trapped and helpless, Clara seeks comfort in Jason, a man many years younger than her.
Jason is an employee of Roman. He is the easy-going type and intends to marry his girlfriend, Ana, only because he got her pregnant. Being so young, Ana and Jason fight often. During one of their arguments Ana has a miscarriage. This forces Jason to remain by Ana’s side out of guilt which makes him feel trapped just like Clara.

When Roman becomes more violent, Clara and Jason’s despair leads them to have an affair. However, to complicate matters further, a secret is suddenly revealed. Roman and Jason are actually half-brothers. How will this affect their working relationship? Will Jason and Clara’s infidelity be exposed? Will Clara end the affair or will she continue to follow her heart?
