Junjun is a good son to his disfigured mother, Laura, while Rachel is a rebellious daughter from a rich family. The two meet in the university and Junjun falls in love with Rachel. But despite his efforts, Rachel does not entertain him because she is in a relationship with Santi. One day, Rachel discovers she is pregnant. Santi flees to America to escape his responsibility as the father.

Wanting to save the girl he loves from shame, Junjun offers to marry Rachel and take responsibility for her unborn child. But Ericson, Rachel’s grandfather, drives Rachel away thinking that Junjun is only after the family’s wealth. The couple move into Junjun’s home.

One day, Rachel’s aunt Ivy pays a surprise visit to the married couple. Ivy is shocked to see Laura, the woman who foiled her plan to elope with her lover, Nelson, many years ago. Laura on the other hand is equally shocked to see Ivy, the woman who threw acid on her face a long time ago. Why is Ivy the only family member to reach out to Rachel? What will happen to Rachel and Junjun as they slowly discover the secrets between their families?
